The Office of Fellowships advises Mason undergraduates and recent alumni regarding the application process for nationally competitive fellowships. The director helps students to navigate the process of identifying and applying for prestigious national awards such as the Rhodes, Truman, Marshall, Fulbright, Udall, Goldwater, and Pickering. The Office also works with students at all levels understand how to prepare themselves early to be competitive for fellowships.

Talented, high-achieving undergraduates who are active leaders and involved in research, community, or creative projects in addition to their academic pursuits are strongly encouraged to meet with the director. The director meets with undergraduates to discuss the various options, assists them in clarifying their goals, assists them with writing their application materials, and works with them to refine their interview skills.

The program is designed to encourage talented graduates and undergraduates to explore the range of opportunities and resources available to advance their academic and professional goals. We are committed to providing a supportive and friendly environment for students.

Throughout the academic year, the office offers a series of information sessions for students who wish to find more about the application process for nationally competitive fellowships. Representatives of fellowship foundations will be present at some of these sessions. On this site, students will find specific information on a wide range of fellowship opportunities, as well as advice on the application procedures.
